This document outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer our digital financial solutions, including but not limited to online banking, mobile payments, and financial management tools, accessible through our mobile application. Your engagement with these services signifies your agreement to these terms, designed to safeguard both your interests and our operations.

By registering for an account with FINA and accessing our services, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Use and any modifications that may be made from time to time. Usage of Service

FINA offers a wide range of digital financial services that you are authorized to use under the following conditions:

  • You will use the services for lawful purposes only, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You consent to FINA debiting your account for transaction amounts and service fees as necessary.
  • You agree to maintain the security of your account credentials and to notify FINA immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Definitions

The following definitions apply to these Terms of Use:

  • Account: refers to any type of financial account you hold with FINA, which can be accessed through our digital services.
  • Wallet: refers to a digital or electronic wallet within the FINA app, which is a secure space where users can store their money in a digital format. This wallet can be used to conduct transactions such as transferring funds, making payments, and receiving money without the need for physical cash.
  • Customer: refers to you, the individual who registers and uses the FINA digital financial services.
  • Digital Financial Services: refers to the financial services provided by FINA through digital platforms, including but not limited to the FINA Mobile Application.
  • Dynamic QR (Subscriber presented QR): refers to the capability for a user to generate a QR code that can be scanned by others to receive payments.
  • Bill Payment: provides a feature for users to pay bills electronically through the app.
  • Loyalty Tier: part of a rewards program where users can achieve different levels based on usage criteria, offering various benefits.
  • Point History: tracks the accumulation and redemption of points under the loyalty program.
  • Redeem Voucher: allows users to redeem vouchers for services or products within the app’s ecosystem.

Fees and Charges

FINA reserves the right to impose fees on certain services. These fees are subject to change and may vary by the type of transaction or service used. Details regarding the fee structure will be clearly communicated through the Application or official communications. By using our services, you agree to comply with these fee requirements and authorize FINA to automatically debit these charges from your Account.

Customer Responsibilities

As a user of FINA’s digital financial services, you agree to:

  • Engage in authorized transactions: Use the services for approved financial and non-financial transactions.
  • Allow account debits: Authorize FINA to debit linked accounts for transactions initiated with your identification data.
  • Consent to data use: Permit FINA to use and store your account number, user ID, and mobile phone number to enhance service operations.
  • Authenticate securely: Utilize your identification data as a secure method for service access.
  • Accept terms: Acknowledge and adhere to the terms of service, including any transaction limits.
  • Acknowledge transaction finality: Understand that transactions are final and immediate once made.
  • Recognize terms updates: Agree that FINA can revise terms and transaction limits, which are binding upon notification.
  • Maintain data security: Keep your identification data confidential, recognizing that you are solely responsible for its security.

Privacy and Confidentiality

FINA is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Our privacy policy details how we collect, use, and protect your data and is compliant with data protection regulations. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you also agree to the terms outlined in our privacy policy.

Modifications and Termination

FINA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of its services at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. FINA may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the services without notice or liability.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lao PDR, in which FINA is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and FINA will be conducted exclusively in the courts of the Court and tribunals of Lao PDR and shall be governed by the law of Lao PDR.
